About the WCAF
More than 25,000 cats and dogs are euthanized each year in Chicago. Patricia Robles, founder of Windy City Animal Foundation began her mission and dream in rescuing cats and dogs this past January. "There is an overwhelming need for a resolution for such a serious pet overpopulation issue in Chicago," Robles said.
WCAF has partnered up with Animal Care and Control and Petsmart in order to help find homes for the large amounts of unwanted dogs and cats that are being euthanized each day. The shelters are now heavily relying on rescues to come to the aid of these animals. They are working hard and becoming a solid organization with tremendous support from those who believe in our mission.
Thank you for your time and your support. Sincerely, WCAF Board of Directors
